What’s the difference between Zebra’s TC22 and TC27 mobile computers?

With the release of the TC22 and TC27 are the latest mobile devices from Zebra – Zebra have built on the highly successful TC2X series (existing previously of the TC20, TC21, TC25, TC26) to create these third generation devices that provide all of the latest features you would need as a business. The key difference between the TC22 and the TC27 is that the TC22 is Wi-Fi only - designed for workers within the four walls of an enterprise. Meanwhile the TC27 has cellular capabilities as well as Wi-Fi making it suitable for workers out in the field.

Both the TC22 and TC27 come in a variety of different scanner and memory options, allowing you to reduce cost by selecting the specification required for your work. Both the TC22 and the TC27 come with two different options in terms of scanning. Choose the SE4710 1D/2D for standard range scanning or the SE55 1D/2D Advanced Range scan engine with Intellifocus™ technology to capture items in hand or on the top rack in a warehouse or retail back room, as far as 40 ft. With PRZM Intelligent Imaging, workers can capture barcodes in practically any condition.

As the next generation of the TC21 and TC26 devices, the TC22 and TC27 come with many improvements from their counterparts. 

The camera has been given an upgrade from Zebra, while the TC21/26 came with an 13MP camera all of the TC22 and TC27 devices now boast a 16MP rear camera. All of the models also now come with a 5MP front facing camera designed for video calls.  

The memory has also been increase from 3GB/32GB to 6GB/64GB as a standard.
